Description
Description: HC-06 Bluetooth Serial Module
The HC-06 Bluetooth Module is a low-cost, easy-to-use Bluetooth serial (UART) transceiver designed for wireless communication between micro controllers and Bluetooth-enabled devices like smartphones, tablets, or PCs. Based on Bluetooth 2.0 protocol, it supports Slave mode only, making it ideal for one-way communication where the HC-06 acts as a receiver.
It operates over a serial (UART) interface and is commonly used in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and ESP projects for creating wireless control systems, such as remote-controlled robots, home automation, and serial wireless data transfer.
The module operates at 3.3V logic level (but can accept 5V power) and comes pre-configured with default settings (9600 baud rate, pairing code 1234 or 0000). It supports AT commands for changing its name, baud rate, and pairing pin (note: only limited AT support when not connected).
Key Features:
Bluetooth Version: 2.0 + EDR
Operating Mode: Slave Only
Interface: UART (TX/RX)
Baud Rate: Default 9600 bps (Configurable via AT commands)
Voltage: Power: 3.6–6V | Logic: 3.3V
