Description
Build Your Own Smartphone-Controlled Robot
The 2WD Arduino Bluetooth Controlled Robot Kit is an all-in-one DIY project designed for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to learn embedded systems, robotics, and mobile wireless communication.
This kit comes completely unassembled, giving you hands-on experience in mechanical chassis assembly, circuit wiring, and C/C++ programming for Arduino.
Key Features:
Smartphone Control: Wirelessly control robot movement (Forward, Reverse, Left, Right, Stop) via any free Android/iOS Bluetooth terminal or custom MIT App Inventor application.
Open-Source & Expandable: Powered by the Arduino Uno platform—easily add ultrasonic distance sensors, line-tracking modules, or IR sensors for autonomous navigation.
Heavy-Duty Motor Control: Includes the reliable L298N Dual H-Bridge motor driver for precise motor speed (PWM) and directional management.
Durable Acrylic Chassis: Comes pre-cut with mounting slots for boards, battery holders, switches, and extra sensors.
Package Includes (Box Contents):
1 x 2WD Acrylic Smart Robot Car Chassis Plate
2 x Dual-Shaft Geared DC Motors (3–6V)
2 x High-Traction Rubber Wheels
1 x Front Universal Caster Wheel
1 x Arduino Uno R3 Development Board (with USB Cable)
1 x HC-05 / HC-06 Wireless Bluetooth Module
1 x L298N Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver Module
1 x Battery Holder / Case
1 x Set of Premium Jumper Wires (Male-to-Female & Male-to-Male)
Complete Mechanical Fasteners (Screws, Nuts, and Standoffs)
Technical Specifications:
Platform Type: 2-Wheel Drive (2WD) Differential Steering
Microcontroller: ATmega328P (Arduino Uno Compatible)
Motor Driver: L298N Dual H-Bridge
Operating Voltage: 6V – 12V DC
Wireless Protocol: Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR (HC-05 Module)
Wireless Range: Approx. 10 meters (33 feet)
Assembly Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
How It Works:
Assemble the acrylic frame and mount the motors, wheels, and caster wheel.
Wire the motors to the L298N driver, connecting the logic pins to the Arduino Uno and the HC-05 Bluetooth module to serial pins.
Upload the provided sample Bluetooth control code via the Arduino IDE.
Pair your smartphone with the HC-05 module and use any standard Bluetooth RC Controller App to drive your robot!
