Description
The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor is a high-precision distance measuring module that uses ultrasonic waves to detect objects. It is widely used in robotics, automation, obstacle avoidance, and smart measurement systems. The sensor emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses (40kHz), which bounce off objects and return to the sensor. The time taken for the echo to return is used to calculate the distance.
The HC-SR04 sensor operates on a 5V power supply and has four pins: VCC, Trig, Echo, and GND. It provides a non-contact range detection from 2cm to 400cm (4 meters) with an accuracy of ±3mm, making it ideal for distance sensing, level detection, and collision avoidance in autonomous robots.
